Fenugreek (Methi) paratha


Bikaneri Paratha
Ingredients:

• Fenugreek leaves(chopped) 1cup
• Wheat flour 1 ½ cup
• Coriander powder ½ t spn
• Cumin powder ½ tspn
• Red chilli powder ¼ t spn
• Salt to taste
• Yoghurt(optional) ½ cup

In a bowl mix all the above ingredients and make dough using required quantity of water.
Divide the dough into peach-size balls. Fatten one ball of dough with your hand. Lightly flour the bread rolling board. Using a rolling-pin, roll out the flatten dough into a thin round. Try to make the edges slightly thinner than the center.
Preheat a tawa over medium heat. Place the rolled dough on tawa, When the colour changes and bubbles appear, turn it over and apply little ghee or oil. Repeat same procedure for other side.
Use same method of cooking for rest of the dough balls.
