• Garlic cloves 7-8 nos

Tamarind paste 1 t spoon
Or Tamarind lemon sized ball soak in 1cup water, squeeze tamarind water

Salt to taste

Ghee 1 tspn

Mustard seeds ½ t spn
Poondu
rasam masala
•
Toor dal 1 t spn
•
Coriander seeds 1 t spn
•
Cumin seeds ½ t spn
•
Black pepper(whole) 8-9 nos
•
Red chilly/ies 1-2 nos
•
Asafoetida a pinch
•
Coconut 1 t spn
Fry the above masala ingredients in little oil fry coconut
last
Allow it to cool wet grind the fried ingredients and keep aside.
In a saucepan boil garlic cloves adding salt and water to it
boil till garlic cloves are done.
Add Poondu rasam masala boil for 10 mins in medium flame.
Now heat ghee put mustard seeds let it sputter add this to
Poondu(garlic) rasam.
