Rasam Masala :
•
Toor dal 1 t spn
•
Coriander seeds 1 t spn
•
Cumin seeds ½ t spn
•
Black pepper(whole) 8-9 nos
•
Red chilly/ies 1-2 nos
•
Asafoetida a pinch
•
Coconut 1 t spn
Fry the above masala ingredients in little oil fry coconut
last
Allow it to cool wet grind the fried ingredients and keep aside.
Now Take tamarind paste or tamarind water mix it in a cup of
water put them in a cooking vessel or saucepan.
Add salt, turmeric pwd, salt and chopped tomato boil for 10
mins in medium flame or till tomato is done.
Add masala ingredients paste, boil for 5 mins in high flame..
Now heat ghee put mustard seeds let it sputter add this to
Mysore rasam.
