Kaddu pumpkin curry

Karela Posto
Ingredients:

Kaddu (Pumpkin), 250 g, cut into about 1inch chunks
Green Chilli, 1 size, finely chopped
Onion, 1, finely chopped
Canola Oil, 2 tsp
Water, 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves, chopped, 1 Tbsp (Dhania patti)

Spices:

Red Chilli Powder, 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander Powder, 1 tsp (Dhania)
Turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp (Haldi)
Garam masala, 1/2 tsp
Amchoor (mango powder), 1/2 tsp
Onion seeds (kalonji), 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds, 1/2 tsp (Methi)
Asafoetida (Hing), a pinch
Sugar, 2 tsp

Heat oil in a pan. Add methi, hing and green chilli. Fry well. Now add chopped onions and fry till golden brown. Now add turmeric powder amchoor, corriander powder, garam masala red chilli powder and salt. Add chopped pumpkin pieces. add a cup of water and cover the pan will a lid so that the pumpin becomes soft.( Optionally it can be given made in cooker at 3-4 whistles.
When the pumpkin is properly done, add a tea spoon of sugar and mix well.
