Red chillies 3 nos

Coriander seeds 2-3 t spn

Chana dal 1 t spn

Urad dal 1 t spn
Fry all the ingredients of masala in little oil allow it to
cool and grind it, keep aside.
Cut potatoes and pumpkin in medium size pieces separately and
wash thoroughly.
Heat little oil (1 t spn) in a kadhai add cumin seeds and mustard
seeds allow to splutter then add red chillies and fry.
Add potato pieces and salt (just enough for potatoes)
and fry till it is done. Remove from kadhai and keep in
a separate plate.
Heat 1 tspn oil in the same kadhai add pumpkin pieces little
salt and turmeric powder fry till it is almost done and
add the fried potatoes and fry a little.
Add crushed jaggery to the frying vegetables and fry till
cooked
Add the grinded masala mix well and remove the kadhai.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. This can be served
with chapattis, puries or with rice.
